I'm looking for one for my son who doesn't want a smartphone. (He had a qwerty phone in the past but it was 3G and the carrier is upgrading.)
Are there any 4G phones like that or are the only 2 options a smartphone or a flip phone- which is hard to type on? That's all I was able to find.

WHen we were int he market for a phone earlier this year, we were told that Qwertys don't exist anymore. I ended up getting a solid flipphone and don't find it all that difficult now that I've gotten used to it.

My cell phone carrier said they updated to 4g about a year ago, but my 3g phone still works just as well.

I have an old blackberry that has a fully qwerty keyboard. I bought it off ebay and it's still going strong.

Which blackberry?
I have one too but the battery can’t be replaced and it loses power really fast.

I used this site to find QWERTY phones that support 4G and were released later than 2017. There are three, all Blackberries, and all discontinued. They would all technically be considered smartphones (Android).

Unfortunately it's just not a popular design anymore.

Someone posted on the yad shniya whatsapp status that they are selling a brand new blackberry q10 never used. It has a qwerty keyboard.

(I don't know if it's considered a smartphone or not lol)

Check out sunbeam wireless site. It's a kosher phone has talk to text and also touch screen that gives your qwerty keyboard though it's small but okay.
Also can get model that has weather and navigation

OP I just came across such a phone today, it has 4G and made recently. It is a smartphone but I think that’s just going to be all you find these days.

I heard blackberrys will stop being in service starting next week.
There is a phone from tag called sunbeam I think, thats a flip phone and touch screen. It has a qwerty keyboard. (qwerty is so much fun to type out, lol!)

Its very hard to use and not made so well in my opinion.

Edited: I see someone mentioned it already.
