I want to order a bag from Ali's for myself for chanuka. The $60-$80 is still a lot for me. I want to get a bag that I'll really get a lot of use out of. I'm bored of black but is that the best color to get? I see she has a new brown imitation Gucci one. is that neutral? Also can't decide between Gucci or YSL.

Do not get a bad replica designer bag. For $60 it will look terrible and people will realize you are wearing a bad fake.

Take the money and go to Marshalls or other discount store or wait until after Xmas when there are huge sales.

You will be able to buy a beautiful leather bag for about that price and not look ridiculous wearing a bad fake.

I am not judging this on ethical or moral grounds but just knowing how bad the cheap replica bags look and they don't fool anyone who knows what the authentic bags look like.

I am very familiar with replica purses. They are widely available where I live and range from the cheap ones that are poor quality to ones that would fool even an expert and can cost several hundred dollars or even more if they are an exotic skin like lizard or crocodile.

Although I haven't seen the specific ones, I know what the ones selling for $60 look like.

They are not going to fool anyone who knows anything about the authentic purse.

I have no axe to grind in terms of ethical issues as that is a separate issue.

The cheap Alis look terrible and will fall apart quickly. I agree 100% with amarante, a $80 non designer bag will look much nicer and be much better quality.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a link to the purses you are considering?

FWIW I actually get a lot of use from my brightly colored purses. I tend to wear neutral colored clothing so colored accessories work fine and even when I do wear color, my colored purses look fine because I buy colors that I like. Smile

I agree with Amarante. The only reason to go for a replica is if you are desperate for a designer bag that is obviously designer, like Gucci, bc it has a logo all over. The problem is, like Amarante said, anyone who knows could tell instantly that it’s a fake, and then what’s the point? Go to Marshals or even Macy’s or the like right after the holiday season and you should be able to get something really nice that won’t fall apart or look really fake. Coach Outlet sometimes gets really low as well.

That is the Gucci Marmont and I am familiar with the authentic. It is a great bag because you can wear it cross body if you use the chain as a single length instead of doubled.

At that price it is almost certainly plastic or an extremely low quality leather which doesn’t resemble the authentic. There are what are called mirror image replicas but these would be $250.

I got a nice Michael Kors bag for $120 in white.

It's not high end but it looks good and goes with everything.

Don't buy a cheap knockoff. The only knockoffs worth buying are 1:1 replicas that will run you a few hundred dollars. You can find them via hidden links on Ali and you can only access them through an alternate side like Facebook, whatsapp, or telegram.
