Any suggestions?

Why does a baby need perfume?

What's your budget OP?

You gotta know the person because if I got this it would go straight into the outdoor garbage can

Uhm please dont buy baby perfume. Its full of toxic chemicals and harsh irritants that can disrupt your babys natural skin pH. Just no

Why do you have to buy a 'unique' gift anyway? It will probably be a waste of money...

Ask if she has a registry or just give her an amazon gift card so she can buy what she wants

A monthly picture blanket. Someone gave it to me by my first and I’ve used it with each child since

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Thought of mustela perfume but I wouldn't use it so not sure. Less than $40.
I am the fun quirky aunt. They will be getting all the standard gifts from others.

Second the picture blanket. It is used to take a monthly milestone picture. Perfect out of the box idea. https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....6fd45
There are tons of different style so I suggest you search it to find one you like.

Milestone blankets are very popular, especially with the younger crowd. She'll probably be getting several. Definitely not unique

Love the picture blanket idea. I didn't post it but it would be something like this: (I picked 1 random one from Amazon but they have sooo many out there)
Organic Baby Monthly Milestone Blanket Girl - Baby Girl Milestone Blanket with Month Marker Floral Wreath Frame - Flower Month Blanket, 1-12 Months Milestones, Flowers, 47”x47” https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....6c238

I like giving a diaper caddy because they are so useful! Fits perfectly on a night stand. If the person has 2 floors they can leave one downstairs. I like ones with hard sides so stuff don't fly out and they are soooo functional! If you want to be really generous, fill it with wipes, diapers, creams in the drawers...

Another idea is a this kit (or something similar) . Its unique and not something someone else is likely to get them:

https://www.target.com/p/frida.....55880

Or maybe some nice healthy lotions and shampoos (organic or vegan types that are more expensive that they may not buy for themselves such as this: https://www.mustelausa.com/pro.....28328

I love the boon bottle rack. There is "grass" and "stems" and "flowers". Saves a ton of space, looks pretty on the counter and is very functional!
Boon Bundle Feeding Set https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....45f21

Also love their bottle warmer:
Boon Orb Baby Bottle Warmer, Green https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....222b7

A night light/sound machine is a cute idea. They have ones that work with apps (more expensive) or cutesy ones like this:
https://www.target.com/p/skip-.....21517

Other random ideas are a baby bath (usually people buy that themselves but it can be a nice gift if you stick some little bath toys with it for when the baby is a bit older) or a crib mobile or stroller arch toy, a bundle me, a diaper bag, a boppy if she is nursing, nice bib, baby camera/monitor or a baby first year memory book.

We got a little personalized wooden step stool from a friend when my first was born (obviously I put it away for a couple of years), but now we use it every day. I like when people think beyond the first few months because that period goes so fast and then you're just left with all this stuff.

Also I bought myself this but I think it's the perfect inexpensive baby gift: the skip hop pronto diaper changing clutch (it's a fold up changing pad with pockets for diapers and wipes and stuff). I love that I can just keep in stocked and stick it in whatever bag I'm using or not even bring a big diaper bag.

We got a name puzzle (as in, the puzzle pieces are the letters of my child's name) and it definitely stood out! There are so many adorable options on etsy. Bonus is it looks really cute displayed in the room until the baby is old enough to really play with it!

Are there older siblings? When my baby was born, a relative gave cute big brother/sister tshirts for the older kids and litter sister got the baby. Got some really cute pics with them! Can find on Amazon
