So I don’t have any personal feedback. But I had dr Zachary ritz as a professor in touro for two classes. She seemed aside from incredibly knowledgeable tremendous experience also compassionate and sensitive and work well with children. Again I’ve never used either as a psychologist.

Dr. Rothbart is an excellent psychiatrist. Dr. Malky Zacharowitz is a psychologist- cannot prescribe medication. Her husband is a neurologist.

She has a very good reputation. Knows her stuff. Parents are happy with her.

I used Dr. Rothbort as a teenager and as a young adult. She was incredible. Really and truly listened and cared, always saw us in 4 shifts - together, then just me, then just parents (or v.v.), then all together to discuss final outtakes and decisions. I felt so respected and she really understood what I was dealing with. Managed my medications beautifully, understood my struggles and what was or wasn't an "issue" (I.e. typical teenager complaints about school vs. challenges beyond the scope of normal), never made me feel inferior because of my weaknesses, and dealt with both ADHD and later depression very professionally, with a ton of knowledge. She answered all our questions. I would not hesitate to use her if the need arose (aside from the travel - all the way from Lakewood! - and the price, which has gone up since I last saw her 5-8 years ago). Happy to answer questions if I can.

Had a great experience with Dr. Rothbort a few years ago.
We stopped using her because of travel and expense, and at this point we know how to tweak my son's meds so we use someone local. But I'm happy we used her initially to get a proper ADHD diagnosis and start treatment.

She’s excellent, frum, down to earth, knows how to talk to the kids... we have used her and sent others to use her. She’s expensive my doctor even recommended her. Usually when I say her name to specialists they know her. Hatzlacha!

We use Dr. Rothbort as well, and are very happy. She talks to everyone separately, to get an “accurate” picture of what’s going on, and she talks to everyone together as well. (I put it in quotes because I don’t think there’s any way to get a completely accurate picture, when you’re dealing wit kids)
She is also currently talking with an NP, trying to get her on board as well.

What does she charge? Also, does she charge more for the initial appointment?

I don’t remember her prices, but the initial visit is more than the rest.
I googled it, and she has a website, which lists prices!! So cool, I didn’t even know
