I am currently have dark brown hair and I am thinking about trying to go a bit blonder. But I don't want to buy an expensive shaitel just as a test but going with a cheap one won't be good as well, as it may not look good because it's cheaper.

Does anyone know of a shaitel, that's good enough so that I could get a good feeling of how I would look while not being that expensive?

Just get anything synthetic in the color you want to test from Amazon. The quality of the hair doesn't really matter, just how the tone suits you.

If you want to get a real wig, I buy the Milano pony on sale when I want to test a new shade or color job and maybe I've been lucky, but they all have looked great and have held up well so far.
