One of my children had gone through a difficult year with a specific medical condition this past year. B''h things are much better now. There were two very special people who helped us out with the process. One of them cooked special dietic foods (for a few months) to relieve the condition and the other directed us to the proper doctors to treat the condition and also helped us throughout the whole process. I was thinking of giving a nice gift to both of them but I don't know what to buy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Some ideas:
A treat yourself kind of gift (massage, spa day etc)
cookbook
something nice for the house
something for their kids
I think in this situation the card that would go with the gift would be more meaningful. Write from the heart and present it with the gift. If your child is old enough, have them write a thank you note too

For the one who did the cooking, a gift card to Bed Bath & Beyond or another kitchen-gadget type of store.
For the other, I would do an Amazon gift card or something like that, so they can truly get something they want.

I've got the same situation but the recipient is a male, don't want to get something personal, but still should be appreciated. Any ideas?
