Are they new wigs? Mine have always come with ear pieces and then I pay the sheitel marcher to remove them for comfort.

Yes I wanted to order a wig online and I was asked if I want them to make it with or without ear pieces.

You can tuck it behind your ear more easily without the ear pieces. All these long blunt wigs need to be tuckable.
You can’t pull the sheitel back (clip, pony etc) without ear pieces.

Does removing the ear pieces help the Sheitel now be too much in your face and make the hair not cover your ears?

If you remove the ear pieces and you tuck the wig behind your ears, your hair on the sides of your head will show.
