About the UGG slippers, I'd love to get a pair but how does one check it for shatnez? So I'm sticking with the $15 faux fur ones from Amazon...

Seems to me that if you can’t think of anything you want or need, it’s rather pointless to look at someone else’s list and ask for something just because you’re “supposed” to get a gift.
Make your own wish list as things occur to you. Instead of going out and buying that purse or makeup kit or book right now, put it on your list and ask for it for your next gift. You can survive without it till the next gift-giving occasion, and this way you’ll get things you really do want or need and not clutter up your life with things you asked for only because someone was obligated to give you something. And if the only thing you really need or want is a new skillet or vacuum cleaner, what’s wrong with that? Just ask for the one you want and make sure you get that very one and no other.

Gifts don’t speak to me at all. If there was something I wanted I’d get it for myself.

Grrrrr, you and my husband. I can't understand it for the life of me.
Doesn't it make you feel good that your spouse thought of you in advance, spent time deliberating on a purchase, spent their hard-earned money on buying something to make you happy?
Isn't there anything that is an extra for you, that you would like, but that you would not buy for yourself because you its really not necesary?

Dinner out to a nice restaurant, just the 2 of us.
I could never bring myself to spend $100 on one meal, but would love if someone else would do the spending and I'll just hop along for the ride.

I just don’t like a lot of stuff. And BH I have enough stuff. I’d rather him think out and plan a date or a trip. But even that I’m ok planning. I have lots of stuff that’s not necessary,, lots of the stuff the above ladies listed I have and it’s all just fine to me.
My husband set the table for dinner last night (before I even got home) and that was awesome. That really made me feel good. (It’s usually something I do)

Right now the best gift my DH can give me is taking care of the baby the whole night so I can sleep.
