Are there bakeries that I can walk into without ordering in advance and get similar miniatures?

I’m not sure which specific miniatures you’re referring to, but weiss bakery and Shloime’s have nice varieties

I loved their wafer-looking things and I think they made a Marzipan flavored miniature that was super.
I havent tasted anything like theirs from any other bakeries.

Shloimies used to make delicious wafer cake. But the last few times I bought it, the flavor and texture of the chocolate cream was different than it used to be, and not even half as good, unfortunately. Stopped purchasing it since it isn't worth the calories or the money since they changed the recipe.

I didn’t buy it in a long time... had no idea that they changed it.. oh well!
