My cleaning lady asked for an increase from $15 to $18 (!!!!!). I know many people are frustrated with the high prices others pay, obligating them to pay a lot too.
Is this considered high? What’s normal?

I pay $15 but I know some are asking for $17, I never heard of 18 yet and thats a huge jump, maybe she figures you will bargain with her so shes asking for 18 and hoping for 16 to 17.

If you give it to her then her friends will start asking for that too. She’s trying her luck but please don’t give in. Please don’t start a new trend in the community.

Still paying $13 Thank God! For two different cleaning ladies. One asked for $15 and I said no. She tried her luck... they know we start to panic and will do everything to keep them so they take advantage of that. Don't let them. Just stick to your guns and don't let them have the lead. We're doing this to ourselves. Every time we give in they'll just continue going up. It won't end unless we end it. So stop it right here and just say NO!
