Hi,

I hear from everyone that the younger kids are, the better for adjusting when making aliyah. I also sometimes hear from people that they were pleasantly surprised by how well their older kids (older elementary age, like 8-10) did with the transition.

Has anyone experienced that aliyah actually went *better* with older kids? As compared to younger siblings? Again, older being like 8-10 years old rather than 7 or younger. If it went really well with the older kids, did they already know Hebrew pretty fluently?

My family moved when I was a teen. Feel free to PM me or ask any specific questions.
