I bought a huge dollhouse for my 5 and 6 year old girls for Chanukah. It is taller than my girls, has plenty of rooms, 4 floors and the furniture holds full size barbies. My five year old is my youngest daughter. When did your girls completely stop playing with dollhouses? How many years can I expect this toy to entertain them?

My guess is that it will entertain them for at least 2-3 years, and they will enjoy it for at least 5.

It depends on the kids. I've seen 11-12 year olds who still like dollhouses, and 9 year olds who are over it. In any case, during the years that they are into it, they get a LOT of mileage and a dollhouse is a wonderful thing to have.

My 9 year old plays the most with mentchies and our dollhouse and I have multiple girls younger than her. Totally depends on the kid.

My 9 & 10 year old girls can play with the doll house for hours. It's always been one of their favorite toys since I got it when they were 1 & 2.

I remember being the 5th grade, and visiting a friend who had a very intricate and detailed dollhouse (with electrical wiring) and we had such a good time setting it up, etc....

My girls played with their fisher price dollhouse and accessories for YEARS.

I remember playing with a dollhouse at 11 and 12 when I was a child. Lady Will also find myself playing with my own girls' dollhouse nowadays if I'm tidying up. More fun than putting my own house in order wondering
