I don’t know if this helps but I did optifast thirty years ago. Please read my whole post.

I lost sixty pounds in a few months. When food was reintroduced I lasted literally five minutes and immediately. Regained the weight and more. After that I was broken for many years.

It took a long time to recover from that. Maybe I won’t ever. Highly do not suggest.

Liquid diets are better for weight gain than for weight loss. They allow you to pack in more calories than you can chew. For weight loss, it's generally better to eat actual food.

After that I could not do anything in control for years and years And years. I ate myself up to 315 pounds. I didn’t feel broken, I was broken.
