I made a huge pot of 20 cartons mushrooms and it has a burnt taste any way to save it?

Pour it into another pot without scraping the bottom at all. As you get to the bottom quarter, stop pouring. This way you cut your losses and only lose some of it versus mixing it and losing all of it. That's if the burnt taste is coming from the bottom being burnt.

Put in old hard pieces of challah or bread. (wait a while then take it out and throw it away, taste the soup, if it needs more time to 'unburn' do it again) It pulls out the burnt taste. Good luck!

Googel says to put in raw potatoes when soup is cooking or not?
