If you’re only seeing it on this site I would assume it’s a third-party seller who doesn’t want to take it off-line but wants to make the price high enough so nobody will buy it

No reason as the brand is an inexpensive brand and there are comparable "rhinestone" flats for $50.
Keep in mind that Walmart.com is not always Walmarts but is somewhat like amazon as third party vendors sell there.
I wouldn't be surprised if there is something unsavory about it like using it to launder money.

A lot of times sellers make the price extremely high when they don't have stock but don't want to remove the listing...

The most likely answer is it's a typo and they go for $50 which is in line with other rhinestone-encrusted shoes by the same firm.

Definitely 50. Whoever put the price in probably put two zeros for the cents but the program adds it automatically. Is what I assume. It says rhinestones, not diamonds.

There are many items on this site that go for astronomical prices
I also saw a little stuffed avocado key chain
