thanks everyone, please daven that he passes everything, and at the end of this week is a big test for him. people are making prayer cards for it but they mention yoshke so am not comfortable putting his name down on it, lol every other group just says father and this group has to mention c specifically so no. I am nervous, I am not ready to share in real life, once he passes that would be something else.
I am also trying to figure out graduation, etc. what was hard is that I couldn't make concrete plans until I knew that he is on track to graduate.

OP, thanks for the update. I hope he passes. If he knows that you're getting some support from some group friends, please let him know that we're cheering him on and are really impressed with his drive. I don't know what the next step is if he doesn't pass but he really needs to take time to endorse himself and his hard work first as a foundation. Either way, I hope this is a step to wonderful things.

Yes thanks for davening. I will mention it to him. The hard part is that I only get updates by mail. When the big test is over he will be able to call home.
I don't know why I am so nervous. I think that it would crush him if he didn't pass or got injured. I am proud of him for trying. He put him self out there to try to pass to go through boot camp.
Thanks for listening me to ramble.

I'm glad he got through and please thank him for his service!

For future posters, if you have a son who wants a military experience, please encourage him to serve in the IDF, where he'll be protecting the Jewish people. The food is kosher, and he can choose to go in as part of a religious unit.
