Toddlers are usually overwhelmed at weddings and are not very cooperative. Even if they do behave, it’s just not worth the hassle. The photographer is busy with the entire wedding party and won’t have the time and patience to give your young family much attention.
For the amount you’ll save on not getting wedding wear for them, you can splurge on a private photo shoot that will be centered around your kids.
Your night will be much smoother if you can leave your kids home in their pj’s with a sitter.

My kids (and my nieces and nephews) all had so much fun at their aunts and uncles weddings!!! I went to my aunts wedding when I was 4, it was a huge deal for me, I was so excited!

You were 4. Op’s kids are 1.5 and 2.5. Big difference.

I would have been so upset if my nieces and nephews didn’t come to my wedding! My husband comes from a big family, and there were quite a few babies there. They all went to sleep after pictures.
