Thank you for all the recommendations.
I went to lowes for color samples and… I’m still not sure!
I put some on my walls and I’m just as confused.
Here’s what I sampled.
Repose gray- nice but a drop darker than I wanted
Agreeable gray- almost like repose gray- can barely tell the difference
Zircon- very light gray but it seems a little blue
Eider white- looks pure white- I don’t see any gray at all
Collingswood- I really wanted to try this color but lowes said it wasn’t in their computer
I’m not sure if I was supposed to mix my samples? Maybe I didn’t try with a good sample. The paint I sampled really doesn’t look like what I saw online.
I also don’t have good paint brushes…
Oh well, it’s just paint.

I googled what's lighter than agreeable gray, and it said sw white heron
I had a decorator recommend BM Gray Owl
I would personally bring in a paint consult since you're doing the whole house - I don't know who to recommend but I saw some other threads on ima where someone had hired a decorator to recommend paint colors. Otherwise as you see, it's very time consuming. A lot depends on the lighting.
