I have a lot of sweaters, tee shirts etc but I find I have no where to put them. A dresser is just not big enough. Anyone have a solution?

What about hanging shelves in your closet? If your racks are high enough put an Ikea kallax on the bottom? Or dividers on the shelf above the racks? You can put bookshelves or plastic drawers in your closet for cheap to make it a fake custom closet.

I hang them.

With these hangers they take up minimal space ajd they are "neckline safe"
They dont stretch your necklines.
I've been using this for close to 10 years now. These hangers are amazing quality too.

I also hang them - I hang everything except for nightgowns/shells etc. Works the best for me and takes up very little space! I hang them in color order to make it easy to find a specific top - once you set it up it's very easy to maintain, my husband can do it.

You can get one of those soft shelf type of thing to hang from the rod and keep them folded in there

Have you tried folding them and placing them file-cabinet-style, a la Marie Kondo? I found that I could fit much more into a drawer when clothes were arranged this way rather than stacked. This system also has the advantage of letting you see at a glance what you have. No need to frantically paw through a stack to locate something.
