I learned it in high school and would love to find it. If you know what it's called or who sang it, can you chime in?

Some parts I remember:

"And in his hand he will be holding,
That famous shofar, used and olden,
Hidden away from maaseh bereishis for the perfect time.

And it will echo through the night,
and suddenly there will be light....

Can you imagine....just imagine...it's hard...it's hard...but try to imagine...imagine..."

Hi, amother.
Try Googling one or more of the most accurately remembered phrases, the longer the better (one complete line, for instance). You should get at least one to ten hits.

Thanks! I had tried that and didn't come up with anything.

Sorry you struck out.
Maybe try YouTube, Yahoo, AlltheLyrics (or similar name), or websites with similar wording.
Or even Jewish Music or Shironet.

On that very special day
In a quiet corner
Or maybe in a busy market place
People will be buying
Selling or just trying
Business is as usual, common place

Ahhh what comes next this is gonna drive me crazy now 🤣

Yesss!!!!

I think the next stanza is something like this:

And then from somewhere far away,
No one knows just where or when.
Things will happen, all will suddenly change.
A man dressed plain and simple
On a donkey white and little
Will suddenly come riding down the lane.

And in his hand he will be holding,
that famous shofar, used and olden.
Hidden away from maaseh bereishis for that perfect time.
and it will echo through the night,
And suddenly there will be light....
