If I freeze it I assume that I don’t need to check it. Right?

Do you mean the cabbage that you use for stuffed cabbage?
Or do you mean already prepared and Cooked stuffed cabbage?

As you're making the stuffed cabbage, you take each leaf off individually, in order to stuff it. At that point you also check each leaf.

I never check greens or vegetables like broccoli I always buy pre-checked or frozen since my rabbi said that frozen doesn’t need to be checked. So I assumed that if I freeze the cabbage leaf I don’t need to check it.

I haven't heard that frozen doesn't need to be checked, unless it comes with a hechsher.
