I dont actually have a playgroup.
I have infants and dont do shabbos ima or aba. Just sounds like your the kind of person who drives the babysitter nuts about why the baby is playing with a nonkosher animal toy. Or something like that.

If someone has the minhag not to play with non-kosher animal toys, I would think it's disrespectful of the babysitter to be giving them to the baby. If the mother only eats Cholov Yisroel would you think it's okay to give them OUD yogurt? This is a paying job, I think the mother should get a say...

It's a leap to say that the mother is micromanaging the babysitter.

I think the opposite. Normalize girls having some masculinity and boys having some femininity. That's the truth. Putting kids in such rigid boxes only exacerbates this problem. That's just my opinion.

What rigid boxes? Male and female?

The Torah says No cross-dressing. Apparently Hashem wants women to be women and men to be men.

This sounds like a weird thing to do, why would I dress my boy as a girl? I didn’t grow up with this and have never seen it. (Yeshivish / JPF for reference)
I don’t see anything cute or funny about it
