Did anyone else watch Pretend It's a City on Netflix?

I just finished watching it and I really, really loved it.
I've always loved Fran Lebowitz, she's always been one of my favorite modern-day Jewish writers, and I had the chance to see her live panel with another Jewish favorite of mine, Lisa Robinson, a few years ago, and I remember I never laughed so genuinely and hard in my life.

Did anyone else watch this? I would love to have a conversation about it, but no one in my circles watched it, and they all think Fran is a snob LOL

Oh my gosh, I LOVED IT!

I thought it was great that she's lived her whole life so far, with nothing but a land line.

I know! I wish I only had a landline. So much easier and simpler...
Did you also see Public Speaking? it's another documentary that Martin Scorsese made about her, about 10 years ago. Equally funny

Ooh! I'm going to have to look this up online. Thanks!

Netflix content has been so amazing the last few years. The quality, writing, editing, it's all world class.

The diverse representation, investment in films and series in countries outside of the US, and the subtitles make it the most friendly and accessible platform out there.
