I shop like an American and we spend about 1000 shekel a week, including fruits n veg excluding chicken. 2 adults, 2 toddlers.
It's a lot but I can't go running around trying to find the best sales. It's hard just shlepping all the bags home from the corner makolet.

I load up our stroller, and my husband got a good "bubby cart." We do one bigger trip, and one midweek trip for just waters and vegetables for Shabbat.
Before we had the bubby cart, I would stay home with the baby and send my husband out with the stroller to do shopping, so he could make the most of the space.
