I'm re-tiling my floors and I'd love advice. I'm not the greatest house keeper, I have no cleaning help, and run a very busy home. I need to find a pattern that will stay clean looking. Obviously, dirty things looj dirty, but some show every speck and some are better at hiding dirt. I way prefer light colored, I want a light airy look, but more importantly it should have a clean look. Any design recommendations? Even better if you have a specific tile to recommend...

I Love love my kitchen tiles because they just hide everything! I bought them around 5-6 yrs ago so not sure they'd still be around. It's a wood grain look in taupe, cream, and brown. The cream really brightens the look but the taupe and brown hide just about everything. Even when the floor is a bit dirty, it kind of just blends with the browns and taupe so it's not super obvious. I totally recommend the look.

I have tiles that look like wood and absolutely love them. Because there are so many swirls and then you really don't see the day today dirt.

After having really light linoleum I love my terra cotta tiles. They do show a lot though, but what they show sweeps up easily.
