it really breaks my heart dropping my 11 mo old baby off to the babysitter
especially now that its the winter I feel like shes constantly coughing, has a cold, gets better and then bam repeat.
is there anything to do or is this just the downside of sending to a babysitting group?
on top of that, I pay per the day and last week my baby wasnt feeling good so I kept her home one day and I just feel bad to the morah that shes missing out on her parnassa every other week bc my baby has a bad cough. do morahs expect a lot of absences in the winter months?
I offered to pay for the day my baby stayed home and the morah didnt charge me. in a way I kind of wish I paid per month so I wouldnt feel guilty keeping her home...
im also sick now and I wish I didnt have to go to work and schlep to brooklyn from where I live.
but I get paid also by the hour and if I miss a whole day of work thats over 200$ which really adds up... (therapist in a school)

If you feel it's the right thing to do, pay her extra even when you keep the baby home. No one would turn that down, unless they're being polite.
