my 11 mo baby is at a babysitter with 5 other kids.
I feel like every other week she has a cold.

Shes had a cough for like a month! I would say its pretty consistent. maybe for a few days she clears up and then shes coughing again.

does anyone know anything I can do?

pediatrician said her lungs are clear hes not concerned. but she coughs and then flinches and I think it hurts her throat

I’ve never tried before but if my child were to develop a cough I’d put the child in epsom salt bath for 20 min.

With a friend of mine, the mom kept saying that it was "just allergies" - except it was bacterial pneumonia. B'H for antibiotics!

I would give the child throughout the whole winter preventative regime of vitamins. I would contact maxi health and ask them what to give. From what I remember I used to give kyolic, vitamin c and flax seed oil and I think a good probiotic.

OP, can you say what humidifier you use?
I’ve yet to find one that actually does anything?

It’s very hard. My kids got sick at the babysitters constantly. My 3 year old still gets sick so frequently.

My son had a cough long term. His chest was also clear but after the prolonged cough took him to get checked and he had asthma. Once he was on a preventative he was okay. Perhaps your child just has a cough or maybe there is something else going on? Perhaps you should take your baby for another opinion prior to starting the natural remedies? It's awful having a cough for so long. I had a cough for a long time, my chest was clear but after a blood test the Dr. Realised I had bacterial pneumonia. I hope your baby has a speedy refuah shelaima!!

Let her sit in a bathroom with the hot shower going. The steam works wonders

It's a powdered vitamin. If you call a vitamin referral place ( I always call Maxi Health) then they will tell you which one is good for your situation.
