How am I supposed to wash? Did it on cold, dried on low and horrible now

100% cotton always creases, that's the material. Besides ironing, there's nothing you can do.
I buy the polyester cotton for that reason.

I wash it on delicate and then put it in the dryer on low or air dry. As soon as it's done, I put it on the bed and spray it with Downy wrinkle guard.

It’s somewhat helpful if you put the linens on when they are still a bit damp.

Put one bed of linen into the dryer at a time (so it's not stuffed), together with dryer balls, and set it on delicate. If it's a short cycle, you may have to repeat it. The balls help knock out the wrinkles as the linen dries, and also keeps it from balling up.

Dry each item separately for 10-15 mins and put onto bed or fold immediately.
If linen does get creased I iron it directly once on the bed.

When you put it on the bed most of the wrinkles come out.
There are also sprays made to take out the wrinkles.
