I think I would gain a lot from seeing a therapist and working through old traumas.
I've never done it before, and there is a stigma inside of me that I'm working to overcome.

But I don't know how to find a therapist. and there is no one to ask in real life.

Do you know of any? or of a reputable organization that can help me with recommendations?

How did you find your therapist?

I haven't used this source, but I've heard nothing but good things about them. https://gethelpisrael.com/

I'm a huge fan of Dr. Rabbi Zev Ballen. He's not cheap, but he has over 40 years of experience in clinical psychology, he's a Breslov rabbi, a BT, English speaking, and all around wonderful guy.

He doesn't see women in person, but he does very good phone sessions. I wasn't sure I could work with a therapist where I wasn't face to face, but with him it worked.

Edited: BDE. Dr. Ballen is no longer with us. Crying

Chaya Sara Brand in Yerushalayim.
Compassionate, super knowledgeable and many many years of experience.
Came highly recommended and was the only therapist that uncovered things that the many other therapists I went to before, couldn't.

Bumping this thread,

my daughter is currently in seminary in Israel. She was recommended to see Tanya Preminger as a therapist.

Any info about her?
