No. They’re “work friends.” I don’t invite them to my simchas and don’t expect to be invited to theirs, though I have attended funerals. Work and personal life are best kept separate.

I own my business and I’m close friends with my partner and with a lot of my employees. Is it a bit dysfunctional? Yes. But all families are.

Not family but definitely close friends. I don't think I'll be there for long but definitely want to keep in touch with my co workers, I see most of them as friends.

I wish, it would be really nice of that were the case. I have a great relationship with my coworkers and bosses, but we don't talk to each other or see each other outside the job.

Yes! I teach in a school and all the staff are very close friends. We go to each other’s simchos and are there for each other during hard times. I love teaching, but on a hard day when I want to give up, it’s this close camaraderie that keeps me there.

Maybe not family but very close friends. We really are a great chevra.
I hate my job now but I'm gonna miss them too much so I don't want to leave...
