Baby is 5 weeks old. Bottle fed. she all day refusing bottle. She typically has 3-4 ounces about every 3 hours but today I try feeding her but she refusing and only taking at most an ounce every 2 hours. Should I worry? She making wet diapers.

How newborn?
In general my pediatrician always told me that babies know when to eat and not to worry as long as they have wet diapers.
If you are nervous you can always call and ask.

Has she been like this since birth? Did you check for tongue or lip tie?

Mostly sleeping is concerning if that is not her normal.

How is her breathing? Not eating is a sign of difficulty breathing.

Call your doctor or speak to a nurse. There could be many reasons for this
- stuffed nose
- thrush in the mouth
- recovering from a long period of wakefulness or crying
- growth spurt
Etc etc

Don’t take chances. If a doc sends to an ER there’s a reason for it. Don’t list to what other parents say, that can cause you chas vshalom to make wrong decisions. You know your baby and you know this is not her norm, the least you can do is discuss it with doctor: maybe he’s in to check she could have an ear infection or thrush : does she have any fever?
