Hi! This Beis Medrash was recommended for my son who is currently in 12th grade in the five towns. I was wondering if anyone knew what types of boys it usually attracts in terms of haskafah and finekeit.
TIA

My son is a very good/Aidel boy, a rule follower, but weak Gemara learner. But very very street smart…

Excellent place for kids who are weak in learning but are fine good boys. Boys are not lakewood- ultra yeshivish type. They are more with-it in a good way. Have some lakewood boys there, but a lot from out of Lakewood - Brooklyn, Monsey, etc. Really really nice staff. Treat the boys very well. If your son is motivated to learn, they will really really go the extra mile to help him. Great kids there!

Our 22 and 24 year old sons went there. They are both strong learners and thrived in the nurturing environment at Neumans. (We live in VA so they were raised in a smaller community where everyone is connected.) They each got a BTL while they were there. Our older son earned a masters degree in accounting through PCS when he was done. He is now a married accountant in Chicago and in Kollel at night. Our 22 year old is back from Israel and learning full time at Tashmans - a post Israel Beis Medrish in Lakewood. I cannot say enough about the rabbeim - especially Rabbi Neuman. I was also really impressed by our sons friends as well.
