anyone know if kids need ID (like passport or birth certificates) for domestic flights?

I don't think so, but since I've only flown international with them, I've always used a passport.

I don't know for sure, but I imagine they do. Airports are so security conscious these days that you are better off being safe rather than sorry. Definitely bring ID.

I just cked and from everything I saw it looks like no, but you do of course. A birth certificate is not id, they need a picture id. to double ck, call your airlines.

I put dd on a plane w/o an id ... it's only if the guardian is not there - and they must be for anyone under 14 ...
