Looking for a place to take my family and several friends. I have kids aging from 2 to 15 (girls). Willing to drive 2-3 hours out of Lakewood. Any suggestions? This would be for Sunday or Monday of vacation (or both - I would consider getting a hotel). Thanks in advance!

Oh, and no need for minyan - my husband isn't coming. We can bring food with us....Not Philly, been there too many times.... Would consider NY though if there is something specific to do - we don't go there too often....

american dream, lots to do there and lots of hotels in the area. Passaic is 10 min away so you can do that for food if you don't want to bring. It's prob a bit too cold now to go upstate unless you stay in a place near snowtubing -maybe hunter mountain or other ski resort areas in the poconos
