When I was a kid, I remember spraying them. I can buy some spray, I guess, but I remember it stinking so I'm wondering if there's another option...
I wash them and hang them to dry, and a google search has a lot of tips about what to put in the dryer to get rid of the static. It also came back with something about putting vinegar in the washing machine? I don't want to ruin the uniforms, nor do I want the laundry to stink like vinegar...

Vinegar smell vanishes after laundry dries.
Add vinegar to final rinse in place of fabric softener.
Air dry rather than machine dry.
Run a wire--not plastic-- clothes hanger along the length of the garment before wearing. The wire will collect the static charge, though it will not prevent charge from building up while wearing it.
Rub some skin lotion directly on slip and tights worn underneath to prevent static buildup during the day
