I know insurance plans vary but I was wondering if I can receive any benefits for birth expenses other than hospital and doctor of course. In Israel I was reimbursed for doula, convalescence home, exercise etc.
I am wondering if I can submit anything for my insurance in America now.

Doubtful, but would depend on your insurance plan.

Manual Nursing pump.
Some private insurance will cover if call from hospital only.
Govt insurance typically covers after.

Breast pump. Most private insurances give an electric option. You usually need to order through their distributor. Medicaid depends on your state. Some only do rentals, some not at all (because WIC sometimes does rentals).
Contact your insurance to find out.

Thanks all
I already got the pump by my last birth so that's out this time.
Any other ideas? Any vitamins they pay for?

You can probably get another anyway- I took a second and leave it at work instead of shlepping back and forth.

Really depends on your insurance plan. Please call them up and ask them - none of us have this info.

Actually my experience with private insurance is they they covered 1 electric breastpump a year, whether or not you gave birth, without a prescription.
