I recently just got Omicron and I'm very happy that I'm vaccinated. It was mild, but more than "just a cold" as many like to claim.
I'm sure that without vaccination it would have been much worse.

Also, keep in mind that other variants were/are stronger, so stop downplaying it, or the need for a vaccine. Keep in mind that thousands/millions have died worldwide, amongst those even healthy people with no underlying health issues.

I’m just curious how you are sure of this.
I know many ppl who had omicron and the majority of them said it was mild.
It’s really something you will never know, not something you can be sure of.

I never had covid, was vaccinated, and still have not had covid. Sometimes I wonder if my sickness in March 2020 was covid, but I wasn't tested so I'll never know.

True.

On a personal level, no one will ever know.

The unvaccinated will never know if they would not have gotten covid if they were vaccinated, or if it would have been asymptomatic or milder.

The vaccinated will never know if they would have gotten covid, or gotten a worse case, if not vaccinated.

No one will know their level of viral load. Whether they infected others, and the impact on those others, if they are less careful.

It just doesn't work that way on an individual level.

We can only deal with aggregates, and statistics.

We can see that the case RATE is higher among unvaccinated than vaccinated. Same for hospitalization RATE, and death RATE.

That of course leaves room for each individual to see "that wouldn't be me."
