Has anyone had experience with a top level mehadrin pesach program in israel in the last few years (obviously pre-corona....)?

looking to hear your experiences

If you're used to American Pesach programs you will be sorely disappointed by even "top" programs in Israel.
It's cheaper and way more luxurious to fly to a European program.
Crete looks really good
