This book was suggested on Imamother and it has been enormously helpful to me.
Uniquely Human, by Barry Prizant.
It is truly beautiful book that can change the way you view your child.

Thanks but what I’d really like is a more practical book. Something that can guide me how I can work with my son and make a difference in his development.

Kids beyond limits by Anat Baniel It’s Not specific to autism but great practical techniques to access your child’s brain.

For guidance, can u ask his therapists to give you activities to do at home that support their work? I did that and had tons of suggestions that were applicable to my specific child's characteristics. I have found that when you are really willing to work, most therapists are very generous in helping you.
