Seeking origin/credit/lyrics info on two songs.

I heard two songs in my Bais Yaakov/Camp Agudah years in Toronto that I know in the first case, and suspect in the second case, came from secular tunes.
The first song took its tune from "I'll Never Find Another You", a pop/rock hit from the '60s or '70s by a group whose name eludes me at the moment (but can easily be Googled). Rebbetzin Phyllis Weinberg a"h adapted the tune with a few note/chord changes, put new lyrics to it, and presented it to her Eitz Chaim students as a sort of school anthem. What I would like to have for this song is the full set of her lyrics.
For the second song, "Each Day We Live", I would like to know the title (composer would be nice, too) of the original tune, which sounds to me very Celtic. I have previously posted the lyrics on this website, but would be happy to do so again if it helps jog anyone's memory.

I don't know about "standard". The rhythm is a rapid

BOM-ba-ba-BOM-ba-BOM-bom (think bongos), thus:

Each DA-ay we LI-ive we MU-ust re-JO-ice.
Ha-SHE-em has BLE-essed us, MA-ade us His CHO-ice.

Et cetera.

Think of the first three notes as G C-C. The whole song is in C major. Now think of a drone or bagpipe playing a constant E. That sets the harmony tone for the whole song.

Unfortunately, at this point I can neither read nor write sheet music. I can, however, typeset the notes by letter name above each line's syllables. Keeping in mind that E would be an almost constant home note for the harmony, the melody for the first verse (verses 2 and 3 following the same melodic pattern) would be:

G* C_C E D_D Bb Bb C D C_C *(Here the G is below the C of "day".)
Each da-ay we li-ive we mu-ust re-jo-ice.

C E-E G* E#_E# D D_ D E F E _ E *(Here the G is above the other notes.)
Ha-She-em has ble-essed us, ma-ade us His cho-oice.

E F-F F G E# D D D-D E F E _ E

Now, I'm not 100% positive of each note, as I have no working music keyboard or instrument beside me at my computer. However, I'll recheck this post later when I do have a note guide (guitar pitch pipe, perhaps), and make any necessary corrections.
