Hilo: The Boy Who Crashed to Earth
Zita the Space Girl
The Amulet series by Kazo Kibuishi
Phoebe and her Unicorn
I can’t promise that there isn’t occasional burp humor or mention of a side character’s “boyfriend” or whatever, but it’s not rude like Captain Underpants or specifically featuring romance etc

Nathan Hale’s Hazardous Tales!!!!
I can’t recommend enough! They are history comics, so they are educational but also are hysterical. I enjoy them myself! There are about 10 or so in the series currently.
There are a few bad words and one or two pictures of women with low cut dress if you are sensitive about that.
And tons of violence and gore… but that’s kinda the point.

Asterix is not as clean as Tintin.
They aren't bad but Tintin is like pristine.
