Legally, I don't know if anybody is *required* to get tested.
If you are not a schoolchild, and you are exposed to a verified patient, and you get a positive home test, you are supposed to verify with an official test: PCR tests are now available for those ages 30+, and antigen tests are available for others.
Schoolchildren are supposed to test (home tests are fine) every Sun and Wed morning.
