I'm looking for ideas to keep my kids ages 2-8 busy after school, what do they do for 3hrs?? I could go out sometimes, but they're not interested in playing, they just did that in preschool. The only thing that keeps them busy is screen time but I feel like it's getting to be too much!

Any ideas??

My kids love to color! Both girls and boys. They do this for a long time. Markers, crayons, scissors, stamps.
They also love building toys like clicks, magna tiles...

Kiddie music with or without stories keeps mine entertained!

And stock up on stickers at amazing savings.

Thanks for all the ideas, I definitely do all of those things with them but I feel like it's been such a long winter already, I need them to be able to get outdoors.

Just don’t do screens and they will figure it out. Have lots of arts n crafts and toys available in a nice attractive way and they will self entertain.

In parts of Europe there is a saying
"There is no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing"

Maybe when your kids get home give them a snack then get them dressed for outside and take a 20 minute walk.

The snack would take time, clean up from snack would take time, getting dressed for outside takes time, walking and getting undressed also takes up time.

You can take them to the local library. I really feel you those last few hours till bedtime are challenging. I do find that once I have a rule of absolutely no screen time during the week the kids get used to it and get busy on their own. The first few days are really hard though.

Story tapes. Change with season. Now they are obsessed with Purim tapes.

Toys:
Puzzles
Magna tiles
Cars
Trains
Puzzles

Crafts:
Coloring, cutting, glueing, stickers
I got cheap scrap book supplies at amazing savings. Print pics of them and they love decorating papers with their pic and stickers.
Color by number or Coloring books
Color pics of self (look for coloring apps to print pics as coloring books)
Play dough (dollar store)
Black magic art (goes on sale on Amazon often)
Larger perler beads

Books

Help make supper.

Yes, bundle up and go out.

If there is a playground nearby - great!

If not just go on a walk.

Maybe walk to where there are those 50 cent horse rides.
