my 8 month old does not sleep through the night yet - and lately when he wakes up to feed, instead of going right back to sleeplike he used to , he cries and squirms and every time you try to put him in the crib - even when hes fast asleep and his eyes are tightly closed - he starts to cry and cry and cry ....me and my husband are going crazy, last night my husband rocked him for over an hour, the night before took two hours till we were able to put him down and he staye d sleeping!!!! any magical tricks?????? we're going nuts!!!

my daughter used to wake up until 10 months when I trained her to sleep thru the night. it took 2 nights we let her cry it out.

we trained my son at 10 1/2 months. it seems he's still slightly awake.....so either you wait until you're sure he's fully asleep, or you just let him cry it out....or see other ideas on this...

what are the chances that he's still hungry ? You could also try leaving a bottle of water in his bed so that he can comfort himself and fall back to sleep.

My eldest woke up nearly every night until she was 3ys old. it drove us nuts, but then it just stopped.

my 10 month old still gets up in the middle of the night and also cries when I try to put her bac into her crib . it takes a lot of tries to get her there. try her book. I am trying some suggestions from it.

I sympathize. Gilad just slept from 10:00 pm til 5:00 am for the first time last night! I sure hope he repeats tonight...

With 3 of my others I was able to train them to a pretty good schedule about like that by the time they were 6 months old.
