Both very pretty, meaningful girls' names in Hebrew. |
Or Shlomit which would tie in with Alexander because of the Hasmonean queen Shlomit/Shlomzion whose Greek name was Alexandra.

First of all, I will tell you that I did not name my DD after my beloved grandfather, figured I would have a son and name him for him. Then I had SIF and never had a son. Lesson for me learnt, don’t put things off.
I love the name Alexandra Simone and in Hebrew I would do Eliana Sima, or any other A or E name (ideally meaning hear/listen/answer..) with Sima.
Wishing you much Nachas from your beautiful daughter.

Just wanted to say that Sima is not at all related to the name Shimon.
Sima is Aramaic in origin, it means a treasure and it's spelled with a samech (not shin).

I have a friend named Shima, after Rebbetzin Feinstein. Not sure if that was mentioned yet.

I had a classmate named Simona (without the H). Not unheard of.
