Not OP, but depending on the age of your kids, there's an amazing ropes course there, and also a huge go-kart place. We also took a really cool boat ride through the Navy yard that showed us all the ships and taught us about them (way better than it sounds). Just be aware that VB is a major beach town in the summer, and there will be women walking around in bikinis anywhere you go that's close to the beach/boardwalk.

I know this is old, but I saw someone posted about VB and I started going through old threads. Is the “beach environment” an issue Pesach time as well, or is it mainly the summer? Thank you

There are many reliable chain hotels next to the ocean along the main tourist strip in VB. Or you could try to find a house in Sandbridge, though they may not rent to you for such a short stay.

Someone once posted on here few trip activities.
There is a watsapp group with tons of info.
They are trying to put together a group deal for Busch gardens.

Definitely join the WA group if you're not already on it. Under 10 wouldn't be great for Busch Gardens. Relaxing on the beach with a kite and a pail on a sunny day can be wonderful. The Norfolk Children's Museum is great for those ages. Norfolk also has indoor jumping places like other big cities.
You've also got the VA Aquarium and a great petting zoo not far from you. You can go to the main VB boardwalk and rent bikes (with trailers for the little ones), and there's mini golf and arcades nearby. You can also go to Jamestown, Yorktown, and colonial Williamsburg with living history that they may enjoy. In the other direction is Kitty Hawk, NC.

To find a house in Sandbridge? Call Siebert and Sandbridge Realty and see if they have anything available for the dates of your visit (most houses have minimums of 3-7 days). There will be several minyanim there, all driving distance from you on chol hamoed.
People who say they're going to VB for Pesach all rent houses in Sandbrdige. But if you want to stay in a VB hotel just for chol hamoed, just check TripAdvisor and find a chain hotel with good recent reviews. The attractions are all drivable from either place.
