Which is why my clothes are all 4 years old. Or older.

I’m trying to convince myself that it’s ok and it doesn’t matter what I wear on Pesach but it’s not working. Everything is really worn, outdated or unflattering.

Anyone know where I can buy clothes online. I just can’t walk into the stores. I walk up to them, see the people there browsing, imagine myself being one of them and then turn around and bolt.

I’m sorta poor so I need a place that’s affordable and has a good return policy.

I’m xs to s on top and m to l on bottom so that doesn’t help

Any ideas?

What about non-Jewish stores like nordstrom rack, TJ Maxx, Marshalls etc?

Hey I'm the same way Smile I literally get physically overwhelmed in stores.

I know this is a long way off, but what I like to do is wait until the first week of July to shop. At that point, most people have gone to the country and the stores are calm and quiet. It's true that some things may be sold out out by then, but there are always nice things left. I actually enjoy that shopping trip and look forward to it Smile I can take my time browsing and trying on

But it does mean that I never have anything new for pesach.

Shein definitely sounds like what your looking for. Free shipping on Sundays, cheap items and free returns if you are in the US. Lots of modest options, check here for ideas: https://alipicks.com/product-c.....icks/

Yes that’s what I should have done. I’m going to get a few shein things to tide me over and try again when it’s not as busy. The issue is that I always hate clothes shopping and if I’m not desperate then I just don’t go.

Some frum stores offer personal shopping after hours. The store is empty and you get someone to help you find clothes.
I do this with my daughter who gets sensory overload in stores and she loves it.

Perhaps see if that is an option in your city.

I have no anxiety issues BUT I hope to go the rest of my life without stepping into
Frum clothing stores. Ugh that sounds horrifying. I like big stores, no sales pressure, mix of styles and trends and classics, open return policies, etc.

I live in Lakewood but I don’t like the feeling that I need to buy something and I need to make it worth the shopper’s time. It’s too pressuring for me.

Maybe I live under a rock, And I’m not saying that your clothing is in good condition, or that you should be happy with it, but I’m still not seeing her for your old clothing is old and terrible. I consider anything that I own less than five years, especially if it’s barely worn, to be new and good stuff.

My stuff is mostly from Nordstrom’s Rack or Last Call or L&T Oleh Hashalom. I still have stuff that I purchased at Loehmann’s-and I still get compliments. I am fairly financially comfortable and think I look pretty good.

Maybe I am just not so young and don’t live in the Big 3.

FYI, my 21 yo. DD wears her clothes from when she was 16 (do the math, 5 years ago, and borrows my stuff as well.
She is heading up fashion week on her campus, was recently told that both she is a “girl-boss” and that “I always look at what you are wearing as an inspiration”, and you have the best clothes.

FYI, shoes are DSW and If it is not on sale, we don’t want it.

I’ve been wearing it every single week for 4 years. It’s not in good condition.
