If you have a child learning in Israel, sleeping in an apartment (like the Mir boys)
What is a normal amount of spending money for the month?
For extras not including their rent.
Curious because was discussing with dc.
Eta if you know an approximate breakdown that would be helpful also

I voted 4-600 but including things like a random dental cleaning or a trip with the guys. Yt expenses and gifts for hosts. I haven’t had to give him more really at any point so I assume he budgets it.

I believe we pay the phone plan.

We would give more if he asked for something specific that made sense but hasn’t come up.

Is food included? Dry cleaning? Travel for shabbosim? I don't have a kid away like this though. But I did go to sem etc
