Voted 35-40
Then realized the next option has 40 again.
You might want to change that if you still can

Your options need to be 20-25, 26-30, 31-35, etc. You have duplicate numbers all over the place. My age is duplicated so I don't know how to vote.

As a mod I edited the poll to better reflect the options.

Your comment may be insulting and painful to that over 90 imamother.
Why can't someone in their 90's be a member of imamother?
I cannot understand and think it's disgusting that many people view the elderly as already out of the loop, just to be cast into an old age home or sit all day by the window and knit.
So many elderly people are in their full senses and can be productive if only given the chance, perhaps at a slower rate considering their age, but yes, productive and certainly be a member of imamother.
Many elderly might be elderly in age but are still young at heart.
Good for you! - dear over 90 ke'h imamother who joined the age poll.
I'm really glad and feel it a privelege to have you on imamother.
I very much hope that you post a lot so that I, personally, and the other younger imamothers can learn from your wisdom that comes with age.

It's impossible for a poster to edit her poll. It needs to be done by a mod. Not sure why...that's just the set up

Lol!
I sure hope that if somebody lives to see their 90th birthday they are more gainfully occupied than imamother.

My 100 yr old grandmother knows exactly what's up in the news.
She reads all the newfangled psychological stuff and has opinions on all current politics.
If she would be able to use a device she definitely would be here!

I'm glad you changed your opinion about the elderly and decided that they can still be doers and spend time on imamother.

We're all more gainfully occupied than imamother. No reason we can't welcome an over 90 imamother and no reason to decide what she should do with her time. There should be a party for the first imamother to reach 100.

You literally went off on a tangent as if I ever said anything derogatory about the elderly. I have the greatest respect and admiration for them and never sent anyone to a nursing home. I still believe it is highly unlikely for a 90+ year old woman to be an active member here for many reasons. Biggest reason of all is that very few ninety year olds exist. Based on my minimal life experience I’d venture to say that someone choosing to click that option in jest is way more likely than the possibility that there is an active nonagenarian in our midst.

I'm not in my 90s, but I'm one of the older members here. And I certainly don't sit around all day and knit (I don't even know how to knit). I keep busy and active. I go to classes, I see and talk to friends, I do various projects, and I work part-time. That's what works for me.
Btw I posted a poll on this subject a while back but I don't know how to find it.
