I can't find them in any Supermarket or 99 cent stores. They used to sell them all over. They came in a package of about 8 in all different colors.

I just bought a 3 pack at Walmart...about 3-4 weeks ago. but I guess that isn't helpful in the city.

you can buy stiff nylon net by the yard, run thread through a narrow length of it, and scrunch it up into a pompon. google Heloise and search under nylon net--she has exact instructions.

scrungies do not come with soap in them ... anyways they probably just ran out ... they make them everywhere ... they even sell "kosher" brands in red=meat, green=parve & blue =milky ... although they are more monies ...
